
This is such a fun, easy way to introduce color mixing! I think most kiddos love any chance they get to play with water and this is no exception! I used a big tub, glass containers and jars from the kitchen, these fun pipettes, and food coloring. I started out just two primary colors, so she could focus on a single transformation (red and yellow).

Then we tried the second combination (blue and yellow).

And lastly blue and red! And then of course free play where all the colors turned a nice shade of brown 😉
